Founded in 1988, Books for Africa (BFA) collects, sorts, ships, and distributes books to children in Africa. Our goal is to end the book famine in Africa. Books donated by publishers, schools, libraries, individuals, and organizations are sorted and packed by volunteers who carefully choose books that are age and subject appropriate. We send good books, enough books for a whole class to use. Since 1988, Books For Africa has shipped more than 20 million books to 45 African countries. They are on once-empty library shelves, in classrooms in rural schools, and in the hands of children who have never before held a book. Each book will be read over and over again. When the books arrive, they go to those who need them most: children who are hungry to read, hungry to learn, hungry to explore the world in ways that only books make possible.

Children's Hospital Foundation strives to improve the health of children through its support of research and education at the Oklahoma Health Center. Since our inception in 1983, the Foundation has raised and leveraged matching funds to create over $79 million to fund pediatric research, quality specialized clinical care and education programs. Our current research and education focus areas include: infectious disease, cancer and blood disorders, cystic fibrosis and lung disease, genetic disorders, diabetes and endocrinology, developmental and behavioral pediatrics, clinical child psychology, trauma and pediatric surgery, kidney disease, gastroenterology, pediatric training, ethics in pediatric medicine, and the care for critically-ill newborns and preemies.

Equality Now works to end violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world by supporting grassroots groups; engaging the media; mobilizing public pressure; participating in and leading strategic coalitions; and advocating for the enactment and implementation of laws and international human rights standards. Through its Women's Action Network, Equality Now distributes information about these human rights violations to concerned groups and individuals around the world, along with recommended actions for publicizing and protesting them.Issues of urgent concern to Equality Now include rape, domestic violence, trafficking of women, female genital mutilation, and equal access to economic opportunity and political participation.

Feed The Children is a Christian, international relief organization that delivers food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who lack these essentials due to famine, war, poverty or natural disaster. Since our founding in 1979, we have grown into one of the world's largest private organizations dedicated to helping hungry and hurting people.
